2007 Great West Pre-Season Schedule Previews

- Southern Utah: Would you
believe I went right from Montana's schedule
to this? Talk about night and day. I do not
believe I have ever seen such a high difficulty
ranking. Even the DII team is a national power,
and they are transitioning. Outside of NDU,
there is not a single team on this schedule
that is not in our top 30.
- S. Dakota St.: The Jackrabbits
have really strengthened their schedule in
2007, most likely due to adding GFC teams
in preparation for next season.
- N. Dakota St.: As with
SDSU, the Bison have picked up a few Gateway
clubs. I am very interested in see if the
Bison can win both of those IA/FBS games.
Neither CMU or Min. have good defenses.
- UC-Davis: UCD has a mix
between the Big Sky and the GWFC. However,
that game with Northeastern should be interesting;
two teams with talent and very diverse styles
of play.
- Cal-Poly: The Mustangs
do not have two IA/FBS games this season,
the games against Iona and Western Oregon
dropped them. Also, it doesn't look like that
opener with Texas State is going to be quite
the "barn-burner" that we once thought.
